Background: Pulmonary Tuberculosis is one of major health problem in Indonesia. Diagnosing tuberculosis of the children is difficult. Nutritional status of the children is one of criteria in diagnosing TB of the children. Nutrition of the children play an important role in management of health problem of children, especially in pulmonary tuberculosis. This study is conducted to describe nutritional status of children with pulmonary tuberculosis in pediatric ward Central General Hospital Prof.Dr. R. D. Kandou. Method: This study is descriptive observational study with cross-sectional approach. This study enrolled 47 children aged 1 – 18 years, 25 were boy and 22 were girl hospitalized in pediatric ward Central General Hospital Prof.Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado, since 2014-2018 Result: This study showed children with pulmonary tuberculosis in Central General Hospital Prof Dr. R.D. Kandou: (1) Below 5 years old: 1 child was severely underweight, 6 children were underweight, 14 children were normal; (2) Above 5 years old: 1 child was severely underweight, 10 children were underweight, 13 children were normal, 2 children were overweight. Conclusion: This study demonstrated severely underweight and underweight nutritional status children with pulmonary tuberculosis in Central General Hospital Prof.Dr. R. D. Kandou below 5 years old and above 5 years old have no significant difference.
