OBJECTIVE Gastrointestinal problems can be occurred in children with Nephritic lupus. Lupus can affect various kind of organs including the digestive tract. Gastrointestinal problems could be symptoms of lupus disease or complication of treatment. This study conducted to provide prevalence of gastrointestinal problems on children with Nephritic Lupus. METHOD This descriptive study had conducted from medical record of children which hospitalized at Pediatric Ward Dr Soetomo Academic Hospital, Surabaya from January 2016 until December 2018 . Children with age less than 18 years with diagnosed Nephritic Lupus based on SLICC criteria on 2012. We excluded patient with gastrointestinal involvement before diagnosed with Nephritic Lupus. RESULT There were seventy two children diagnosed with Nephritic Lupus in this study, consisting of 45% boys and 55% with median age 12 ( 2-17 ) years old. Gastrointestinal problems were present in 51% Children. The type of Gastrointestinal problems were abdominal pain19 %, nausea-vomiting 15 %, diarrhea 10 %, ascites was 4 %, and dysphagia was 3 %. All of children have already got treatment for Nephritic lupus. CONCLUSION: Gastrointestinal problems could be present in children with lupus nephritis. It was presented as abdominal pain, nausea vomiting, diarrhea,ascites, and dysphagia
