COMPLEMENTARY FEEDING: HOW PARENT APPROACH AGAINTS IT IN JABODETABEK

OBJECTIVE : This study was aimed to assess parent’s knowledge and it relation to education level and monthly income
METHODS: A quantitative descriptive study was conducted among 342 parents who had children with 6-24 months of ages randomly in Jabodetabek. Total sampling technique was used. Data were collected by filling questionnaire internet based. Uncompleted data were excluded. Data were entered in to Microsoft? Excel for Mac 16.16.10. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistic.
RESULTS: They were 314 data approved. 258 were having good knowledge, they were academician (85.3%) and had monthly income >10.000.000 IDR (61.9%).
CONCLUSION: As shown in this study that parents who had high educational level and high monthly income were having good knowledge compared to low educational level and low monthly income.
