Objective: This present study was aimed to present the anthropometric status profile of children with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) who were treated in the Ulin General Hospital, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Indonesia between January-December 2017. Method. This study was an observational analytic with a retrospective approach. Data were obtained from the inpatient register book of ALL patients between January-December 2017. Inclusion criteria for the study subjects were ALL patients who were treated for that time period and had complete anthropometric status data. Anthropometric status measurements were carried out using the WHO 2006 chart for children under 5 years old, and CDC 2000 charts for children over 5 years old. The anthropometric status was based on the WHO 2006 criteria and the CDC 2000 based on data including Body Weight based on Age (BW/A), Height based on Age (H/A), Body Weight based on Height (BW/H), and Body Mass Index based on Age (BMI/A). Results. The results of this present study show that there were 585 subjects, consisting of 44% men and 56% women, and also consisting of 18% children under 5 years old and 82% above 5 years old. The results also show that LLA patients who were treated at Ulin General Hospital Banjarmasin have normal anthropometric status based on BW/A (59%), H/A (54%), BW/H (77%), and BMI/A (60%). The results of this study also showed that only a small proportion had abnormal anthropometric status, except in the BW/A, H/A, and BMI/A. For those three parameters the results show that 27% of children with LLA have severely underweight, 31% severely stunted, and 23% wasted. Conclusion. In conlusion, the results suggested that children with LLA who were treated at Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital in the period January-December 2017 had normal anthropometric status.
