Methods: A family-centred, multicomponent intervention was conducted in the Pooneryn MOH area of Kilinochchi District, recruiting families with children aged 6–59 months through multistage cluster sampling and data collection via an intervieweradministered IT-base. The four-week intervention on nutrition, hygiene, parenting, financial literacy , and behaviour change and culinary skill was delivered by trained peer facilitators. Baseline details, anthropometry , HHS, HFIAS, dietary diversity , dietary recall were collected. Follow-ups were conducted fortnightly , with reassessments at 3 and 6 months. Ethical approval was obtained from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna (J/ERC/24/164/NDR/0331). Results: A total of 154 (86.5%) completed 6-month follow-up. Mean child age was 25.4±11.6months. Post intervention Household hunger improved, HHS decreasing from 0.55±0.43 to 0.43±0.93, with little to no hunger rising 83.1% to 88.3%. HFIAS scores changed slightly from 3.11±4.5 to 3.37±4.98. SAM dropped from 10.4% to 1.3%, growth faltering from 60.4% to 27 .9%, severe wasting declined from 5.2% to 1.3% and moderate stunting from 25.3% to 20.8%. Consumption of vitamin A-rich vegetables(48%-69%), eggs(52%-80%), and organ meat(8%-17%) increased, whereas fried foods(92%-88%), bakery items(60%-47%), and sweets(86%-36%) decreased.
