OBJECTIVE : Glucose level is the main sugar found in blood. Obesity in adolescents is associated with an increased risk of impaired glucose level. Poorly controlled of glucose level can increase the changes of diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in which your blood sugar level are too high ( >200mg/dl). The risk factor of diabettes mellitus such as parents income, snack, activity, birth weight, number of large meals, history of diabettes melitus in family. The risk factor can increase blood glucose level so this sudy was conducted to analyze the correlation between the risk factors of  diabetes mellitus and glucose level in obese adolescents.
METHOD: This study is a cross sectional study undertaken at 3 junior high school in Manado. Blood glucose level was conducted and questionnaire about DM risk factors was given to 83 obese teenagers (BMI > 95 th percentile)
RESULT: From 83 obese aldolescent. 9 aldolescent experienced impaired blood glucose level (10.8%).  There was boys ( 61.4%), and girls (38.6%). Blood glucose level < 100 (49.3%), 100-150 (37.3%), 150-200 (2.6%), > 200 (10.8%). There was a significant correlation between the number of large meals and glucose (rs = 0.195, p= 0,039). There was no significant correlation between parents income, snack, activity, birth weight, history of diabetes mellitus in family. 
CONCLUSION: In this study most of the obese adolescent is boys. 9 aldolescent experienced impaired blood glucose level. The number of large meal is the risk factors for impaired blood glucose level in obese adolescents.
