Every year new pediatricians are being graduated. These new pediatricians have full pediatric knowledge, skill and idealism to work in their new working place whether in urban or rural health care facilities. They also have passion to overcome health problems and also in prevention measures such as immunization. In the last 2 years, young pediatricians were recruited to become immunization champion who would give advocacy to increase immunization coverage and also to report the immunization by I-POINTS (Indonesia Pediatric Society- Pediatric Online Immunization Reporting System). I-POINTS was developed by the support of American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, designed especially for pediatricians to report non-program immunization such as pneumococcal vaccine, rotavirus vaccine; and also to report Vaccine Adverse Event Following Immunization. After a year the immunization records were more than 20,000 records. Pneumococcal vaccine records were 1462, rotavirus records were 852, varicella 493 records. Those non-program immunization records were not available previously. Those records were mainly reported by dedicated young pediatricians. The young pediatricians are be expected to play important role in other immunization domain such as MR campaign, strengthening routine immunization advocacy also acute flaccid paralysis reporting in their workplace.
