Background : Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder which has deficit in executive function, language, emotional, and social function. Children with ASD should be evaluated the electroencephalography (EEG) to assess the risk of seizures or other underlying abnormalities. The aim of this study is to determine the characteristics of EEG findings in ASD. Material : A retrospective study was done in children aged less than 18 years with ASD who done EEG examination at Dr. Soetomo Hospital Surabaya from March to April 2018. The data were obtained from medical record, such as EEG findings, aged at diagnosis ASD, and number of epilepsy. Statistical analysis using comparation test with significant p<0.05 Results : A total of 30 children were included in this study, consist of 21 (70%) male and 9 (30%) female. The mean age was 7.9 ± 0.61 years. The mean aged at diagnosis ASD was 5.4 ± 0.24 years and the number of epilepsy was 14 (46.7%). There were varians EEG result in children with ASD. The abnormality of EEG findings were found in 14 (46.7%) which most of them happened in temporal area 9 (30%). The number of abnormal EEG was not difference between male VS female [21(70%)VS 9(30%); p=0.326], but it is significant difference between ASD with VS without epilepsy [ 16( 53.3%) VS 14 (46.7%); p=0.000]. Conclusions : Children with ASD could have a wide variety of EEG
